We started out June with a bang. This was for a baby shower for a woman who's pregnant with triplets, two boys and a girl. The soon-to-be parents love to ski, so it was fun to incorporate that theme into her baby shower cake. We wish her the best as she's going to deliver soon!
On the same day, we got two orders for two different parties at Skate City. What's better than skate cookies to give as party favors?! Let us customize your goodie bags for your upcoming birthday parties.
We are doing more custom cookies these days, and these were for Aurora police officers.
M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E! This fun cake had an M&M filling, which we thought was very appropriate for the theme.
Looking for a great way to say thank you? I know I would love to get these cookies over a card any day! These were customized for a CU Buffs fan, hence the black and gold letters.
This cake was made to celebrate the graduation of a college graduate. The bottom tier is a strawberry cake with strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream, and the top tier is vanilla cake with chocolate filling. We love the shabby chic look!
This F16 cake was all hand crafted and edible. Not pictured is the runway on the sides with a grass border. It was such a fun cake to make for a special three year old.
This peapod cake was created for a baby shower. They wanted a cake that had a lot of cute bugs and a few peapods. We wish this mama the best of luck, too!
We got to see the birthday boy dig into this Toy Story cake, and it was so fun! He loved the fondant stars, and treated them like popsicles. The mom provided the Buzz toy that we got to sink into the cake.
Congrats to this graduate. This was a square chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse frosting and filling. Delicious!
This Chicago Blackhawks jersey was made for an avid hockey fan. Just so happens that the his birthday was during the Stanley Cup finals, which was so perfect. The logo and the mascot face were both hand carved.
We loved making these fish cookies, which were ordered for someone who was retiring. We hope he has a happy retirement full of hungry fish!
To carry on with the fish theme, we also got to do this fly fishing cake for a 40th birthday. They wanted a chocolate cake with raspberry filling and our delicious chocolate frosting, which worked perfectly for this theme.
These construction cupcakes were made for a little boy's special birthday. What boy doesn't love trucks and dirt?!
This yoga cake was ordered by a great husband to celebrate his wife's birthday. She loves yoga, and we hope she loved this cake, too! The figurine on top was hand crafted and edible.
These cakes were ordered for a retirement party for someone who was retiring from Johns Mansville. We wish him a very happy retirement!
A surprise 30th birthday party was where these cakes and cookies went. The birthday boy loves Batch 19 beer, and his wife planned his party around it. So we made a chocolate/peanut butter cake and vanilla and chocolate sugar cookies, all with the bottle cap on them. Happy birthday!
That was most everything for June. Stay tuned for July's custom orders.
