September was a fun month with three weddings and lots of birthdays. Here's everything we did!
We started off the month with this decorated fruit cake. It was a chocolate and vanilla layer on the inside and all these wonderful fruit slices on top.
Dumbo is such a great character, and this cake was adorable. How can Dumbo in a tub not be cute?
This was the first of our wedding cakes, and we loved the bride's vision of the crisscrossing ribbons. Simple yet elegant!
That same weekend, we had two orders for two different present cakes. The TIffany present was for a bridal shower, and the pink bling cake was for a woman's birthday. Both were fun celebrations!
Nightmare before Christmas! This was a fun cake to decorate!!
Sometimes the simplest cakes are the prettiest out there. This roses cake was done in an ivory Swiss meringue buttercream and was sprayed with luster dust to give it a sheen. Happy anniversary indeed!
We know adults who don't eat sushi, so the fact that this sushi boat cake was for a boy is incredible! We heard he loved it!
Here's our take on an over the hill cake. It's a fun survival kit. Happy birthday!
This monster truck sheet cake was a simple one, but it's pretty fun!
How about a welcome baby cake! I know if I were a new mom, I would want to sink my teeth into some cake!
This t-shirt cake is showing some great school spirit for the local elementary school in our neighborhood.
These Minnie Mouse cookies were ordered to be bright pink. And we loved how they turned out! It's fun to work with a customer's vision.
Our second wedding in September was one of our favorites. This couple was supposed to get married in Estes Park, but due to the flooding, they had to move the wedding. It didn't even faze them. They were a fantastic couple to work with, and we were thrilled to be part of their day. And their vision of mountains, trees, and fall leaves was amazing!
Bonjour! Beauty and the Beast is a favorite around here, so we were excited to do this Belle dress cake. We can just imagine her floating on the dance floor!
These Lexus cookies were ordered for a Lexus dealership in Aspen. We wouldn't mind having one of those cars, but the cookies are a tasty substitute!
Our third wedding in September was held in Granby. This tree cupcake stand as well as the wood cake topper were perfect for the setting. It was fun delivering to Granby...especially driving through snow on the way home.
Stay tuned for the custom work from October!
